This year has been busy but productive for us at EduPoint, as we have requests for our services from both parents, schools, and now Government!
Earlier year we signed a memorandum with Lofty-Allied Partners as one of the 6 delivery and implementing partners in the Ekodigital Initiative formerly called Digital Skill Initiative under the office of the special adviser to Lagos State Governor on Education.
Numbers they say do not lie and so far, since April we have been engaged, we have deployed our trainers to over 100 schools of which 90% are public and 20% are private schools. Also, we have trained and onboarded over 13,000 students, of which 55% are female and 45 are males.
Aside from training the children from 8 years to 15 years from primary to secondary respectively, we also trained the ICT teachers of the public and private schools with 60% of females and 40% of male public school teachers trained successfully both online and offline.
Over 2500 hours were recorded as the total recorded hours spent on training and manpower activities. We use the medium to appreciate the entire team from admin to operations to key-personnel to which without you all, we could not have done this much, but we must not relax now, we still have a lot of work to do, we must be prepared for what is to come, as what is to come is far greater than what we have achieved.
Well done Team and a huge thank you to you all, also we would not forget to appreciate our partners, funders, and implementing partners; to LoftyInc Allied Partners Limited, Office of the Special Adviser on Education, Lagos State, Special Adviser to the Governor On Education, Lagos State. Also to our previous funders and supports; Union Bank of Nigeria, Orange corner, and LEAP Africa thank you all for the good work so far!
We are privilege to be part of this project, we would continue to give our best and ensure we add our quota to building a sustainable digital literacy that is affordable and accessible to all.
